Highly recommend. I discovered some old silverware sets in a storage garage owned by my ailing parents and needed to appraise them for their trust. I found the owner Niels of Montclair estates on the internet and he was great. Very professional, personable, experienced and knowledgeable. He is accredited by the International Society of Appraisers which is helpful if you need a legal appraisal document for insurance or other legal purposes. Thank you Nils for being engaging and providing excellent customer service. I had just left a store in another town and had a terrible customer experience. I’ve been in retail and merchandising my entire career. And to sum it up, great customer service turns into sales and conversion. I have used Montclair Estates’ services for years, dating back to the days when they had a storefront in Montclair and then on Piedmont Ave. Niels has helped me sell everything from records and baseball cards to a zapotec rug and a waterford crystal punch bowl. Always a pleasure to deal with and he has a wide range of knowledge covering just about everything that has resale value but particularly vintage and antique goods. Highly recommended.

I have found some great deals on consigned jewelry and collectibles, unique items for myself and as gifts. They have much more online, but they do have some jewelry and locally made t-shirts in their shop as well.
