My husband Adam and I found a prime parking spot on Oak Street, so we decided to take the opportunity to check out the new Montblanc Boutique. While we initially had trouble finding it (Oak Street address with store front physically on Rush), we called and a young woman was kind enough to come to us and bring us to the store. Very dissapointed that customer service and standing behind product is gone or at least gone from the Michigan Ave store in Chicago. I have owned Montblanc pens for for 15+ years and have always valued their helpfulness. I took a pen in for repair due to regular use and bought another to use in the interim. Within 6 days of purchase, the cap would not stay on. The Manager told me when I take the cap off I must have put on the pen which you should not do. During our visit to the Mont Blanc store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, we had the pleasure of being assisted by Gabriel, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We initially stopped by to inquire about the return policy, as we had purchased a pen just a week prior from another Mont Blanc location in Virginia that didn’t meet my husband’s preferences.
