We’ve lived in the neighborhood for a year this march. It’s definitely safer than staying around central Topeka, but it’s not cheap for the quality provided. I don’t call maintenance unless it’s something serious; I’ve found roots out of the main cleanout in the basement, am constantly catching mice, the insulation is maybe r-3 in our unit, so it’s cold in the winter and hot in the summer, the water bill is about double on average vs what we used to pay in the city limits, the electrical has faults in the panel and damaged w... read more
Our family has been living in Montara for the past 6 years. We really love the country feel to the area. We never have any issues but our garbage disposal stopped working today and the maintenance men were here fast. The old one had locked up and was broken. The maintenance men went to the maintenance shed, grabbed a new garbage disposal, and had it fixed and back to do washing dishes within 45 minutes!!
