someone pays them to post the biased news they put out. news is supposed to be the truth weatherbwe like it or not. it isnt to be someones biased opinions.
It’s a terrible paper. There’s NEVER anything interesting or exciting to read in the Standard! But there used to be! Must not have very good journalists. I’m sure there’s a lot more happening in Butte than they EVER print. The paper is below standard!

Their prices for a paper is outrageous. They have a Facebook page and want to charge you to read an article now. I hope it sinks and drowns.
RecommendedI delivered it from 1950-53 they were good to me .think it was about $0.35 a week.4:30 am
After seeing firsthand how they treat their carriers and their customers I don't recommend their paper at all. The price is way to high for what you get. And the price they charge for obituaries is extremely high at $1 per word. My dad was a carrier for them for 20 years and because it cost so much we were unable to put an obituary in their paper.
