Edit: In response to your business response, you are responsible for your sub's work. You ceased all communication once issues were discovered, passing all the blame to Tony (who indicated that I should speak to you and that you would make it right since you were the boss). Initial communication was excellent and the crew was friendly. However, after rough framing was partially complete I noted several issues: -Out of square/plumb framing -Improper hangers -Missed fasteners -Materials and spacings not to plan -Loose blocking -Nails missing members -Incorrect nail type for connections -Floor joists not even close to in-plane Instead of correcting the issues I was given the run-around then communication ceased. Initial communication was excellent and the crew was friendly. However, after rough framing was partially complete I noted several issues (out of square/plumb framing, improper hanger, some materials and spacings not to plan, loose blocking, toe nailing issues, missed fasteners, etc.). Framing was poorly done with inadequate nailing, incorrect hangers, and awful communication. They refused to fix their issues… they took the money and ran. Avoid at all costs (they seem to have trouble with other clients as well based on discussion with those victims/clients).
