This place was amazing! I had a great time, found some cool sapphires, the scenery was spectacular 👌 meeting the owner and getting a little tour of or every nearby where we sift was really cool to see the operation. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and I look forward to my next trip out to the Blue Jewel 💙 10/10 would recommend
Calling is a waste, does not answer; mailbox is full. Drove over the WORST ROADS in the entire state of Montana to view/buy some faceted sapphires, but there was nary a soul around. Not sure if this is even a real or destination any more… FYI, I did find the cleanest port-a-let ever in my life, which leads me to believe it was never used. Thanks for wasting an hour of my life.
Owners come out, collect the money, show you where the pile to shovel through then disappeared. Be aware that it is a Very long drive off road to the dig site that has no signs to ley you know you are on the right route. The pile looks to have already been searched with the machines prior to be searched by customers. Looks like a tailings pile. $150.00 cash only to shovel rocks, sift them and have no one to show what to look for. I shoveled and sifted 6 5-gallon buckets and the owner still never returned.
