(short version). Bought a truck, drove it home, in less than a week it’s in a shop needing the motor and transmission replaced. It’s still in the shop, I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Monster Motors. At least they got the $1000 kickback from the finance company. I’m so proud that they can make money by any means necessary. It’s been sitting at this dealership repair shop like the perfect little non functioning truck.
Bought a GMC in September at Monster Motors, TN and dealer said it was just checked out and all was good A few days later engine light come on and feel a knocking. I called Monster Motors for a warranty. They sold me one. Took truck to a local garage. Says compression is low shand metal shavings in spark plugs as it needs a new engine and possibly a transmission. Monster Motors Alcoa TN- if I could give a negative star I would. Salesman Will Diener sold my 19 year old son a 2015 GMC SIERRA for $36,000 he had it for a day and a half before the check engine light came on. Turns out the truck needs the transmission replaced! The rear end of the truck is whining so bad now that it left the transmission shop it’s off to have the rear end fixed.
