I called an ambulance because my son was weighing avon and he was bringing me my inhaler, but it was taking a while, so I needed some medicine right away.Couldn't breathe. On Sunday Feb 23rd I fell and broke my knee . Monroe came to Strong West to transport me to Strong hospital . My two guys were the best of the best ! Courteous, friendly , concerned and funny ! Took all my joking in the spirit it was given , by a very nervous lady who couldn’t believe that this was happening! My husband at that time was in Strong in ICU ! I Was frantic . But these guys made it FUN ! They took care of all my needs ! Even at Strong ! Thank you so much for them !
Horrible. PREDATORY. Rude. With so much emphasis on predatory. What less could you want from medical professionals? This company participates in balance billing - apparently the only surprise medical bill legal is for ground transportation ambulatory services. My husband had to be taken to the hospital with Monroe Ambulance earlier this year. Once they came to our home my husband was told he needed to walk downstairs and out of our home before he could be helped on the gurney. Reps were told he had sciatica and back was killing him. Come to find out had bulging disks on top of sciatica and was kept in the hospital over a week. Why would they make him walk with a back issue? The astute and skilled paramedics at Monroe Ambulance literally saved my husband's life by making critical time-sensitive decisions while transporting him to Strong Hospital. We will be forever grateful. The cost is overwhelming and I therefore needed to understand payment options.
