Came out for New Year's and it was so nice! Food was excellent and there's a good selection of beer and other cocktails. DJ Slick was awesome and the upstairs room and bar was very lively. We had a great time!
Monnik makes very delicious and inventive beers. Most of the time I'll pass on beers with some herbs and spices, but these guys make them work like no one else! Something I look for at every brewery I visit is a staff that is not only knowledgable about the beer, but enthusiastic about being there, I've never been let down at Monnik.
We've got a lot of breweries in town, and in my humble opinion, Monnik brews the best of them. They offer a wide variety of beer styles, more diverse than the average place, with a regular rotation of specialties to keep you coming back for new stuff. Everything I've had was flavorful, interesting, or complex. You'll never have a dull beer here.
It's a great place to celebrate Festivus with friends. Great beer and food.
