Pretty good hospital Part of the St. Barnabas Healthcare System in NJ, Monmouth Medical center offers varied treatment and has many hospital-based physician offices alongside the center as well. The doctors have been pretty good in my experience, and the hospital gets busy (as all do) but seems to be clean and well kept, and many doctors refer their patients here, too.
My experience at Monmouth Medical was amazing. I was 4 days postpartum and was sent by my dr to the ER. After a long day and many hours in the ER i was admitted to a room @ 10:00 pm. I did not eat or drink all day and my husband was not allowed in due to covid. The nurses who greeted me in my room were exceptionally kind. They brought me everything I needed. Water, crackers, phone charger, toothbrush. & tooth paste & lots of blankets because my room was freezing. When the shifts switched and new nurses came they were also e... read more
Their mentality to religious objection to specific vaccines and holding patients hostage for their choices and calling CPS on them despite them following their Drs advice on the issue.
The ER staff at Monmouth Medical Center conducts themselves in an extremely unprofessional and inappropriate manner while people suffering from COVID and other potentially life threatening afflictions await for extended periods of time in the waiting room area. The doctors and individuals whom manage the ER participate in this unethical, out of line behavior. Regardless of the increasing amount of complaints the hospital receives, not a thing is done to remediate the issue.
Shameful this hospital. A real disgrace.

I can’t begin to tell you how AMAZING your Same Day Surgery is! Unfortunately I don’t remember the names of the staff who took care of me, but their wonderful care made me not worry about my procedure. This was the second time I had my surgery there and rave about my experience. Please pass along to them my appreciation. As someone who worked in healthcare, I know it’s not an easy job no matter what the role. Oh, I also wanted to say how impressed I was with the drive up process for Covid testing. I gave blood today through a RWJB mobile site at Monmouth University. I was a little nervous but the nurse, Odenis M., made me feel really comfortable. She was so sweet and attentive. I had a really great experience and will be donating again because of her. Odenis and the rest of the staff today are so valuable always, but especially now. Thank you for all that you do! ♥️

Would never recommend this hospital.Was there Oct 13.I banged my knee pretty bad.I hobbled into the ER.7hours later I hobbled out,No wheel chair to the exit.Had x rays and cat scan.I had asked if they would drain fluid from my knee.Answer was no .Knee was size of basketball.Never saw an orthpeaodic doc.Was dicharged saying I had arthritis.Also on discharge it said if my knee was swollen and in pain seek medical attention.What was the hospital visit for.?Saw my own doc few days ago and drained my knee.feeling better.Now i kno... read more
