We highly recommend Monks cove as a fun after party or event spot. My husband and I have been talking about how great they were ever since we left. I got married last weekend at the Cincinnati Art Museum and a few days prior I called Monks cove just to check that their patio would be open Saturday night so we could continue the party there! The coolest bar in the Cincinnati area. St Adams is named after a bootlegger and there are several great local bars in a 4 block radius. Love this spot. Great bartender and awesome service.
Such a great atmosphere, almost like you are in Key West. Enjoy this place when in Mt Adams. Great prices and good, friendly staff and service.
Me and my friends came here May 9th around 10pm and we got denied being all 21 and 22 years old. The bouncer wouldn’t even look at me or my other friends ID. I think this was extremely disrespectful and we will not be coming back here. Just because we look young does not mean you don’t look at our ids. I have never been denied anywhere being 21 years old.
On May 9th, around 10 pm my friends and I were trying to get in Monks Cove. I went there for my 22nd birthday in March. Last night as we were getting in, I was denied because it looked like my ID was fake and refused to let us in. I asked to speak to a bartender or manager, and I was told no. This is honestly ridiculous considering all of my friends and I are 22 years old. I was extremely disappointed by the service and the disrespect.
