Monkey Wrenches Monkey Wrenches was actually recommended to me by a friend, and my family ended up taking three cars there in the course of three months. Each car had to go back to be looked at again. Two of the cars immediately had the same problem. Both were fixed at other locations. One had the simple problem of a loose wire that Monkey Wrenches was unable to locate. New Owner - Awesome Business Monkey Wrenches has been renown for poor business until the new owner Ted Curran took over early this year (2007). He's made good on poor work done by the previous owner and has done excellent work since. I have had two vehicles in, was charged a fair price both times, and did not get "extra work" shoved in my face. My hat's off to a well run business.
Monkey Wrenches Is best !! My husband Steve had a positive experience with the folks at Monkey Wrenches, but then guys understand this car stuff more than us ladies do. But I have to say, I took MY car into the folks at Monkey Wrenches and I could not have had a better experience ! Not once did they make me feel like a "Dumb Blond" (even though I AM actually blond). Exceptional work I never dealt with Monkey Wrenches with the previous owner (years ago), but I hear it was a disaster. I have always worked with Ted and Bill and have had nothing but fantastic service. For me they've done a clutch on a Toyota truck, fixed multiple coolant leaks on a BMW 525i, and now they do even my regular oil changes. If you can't trust your auto mechanic - you need to change. These guys I trust with my very precious vehicles ... I urge you to give them a shot.
Classic Car Owners - Here Are Mechanics You Can Trust ! I am the proud owner of a classic 1978 Silver Anniversary / Indy Pace Car Edition - Corvette. Competitve prices, but only fair hours Monkey Wrenches offers complete automotive repair although they say that they specialize in Fords, Hondas, Chevys and some of the higher end cards like Jaguars, BMW's and Mercedes. Their prices are very competitive with other local shops like One Stop, but their hours are not very good. They are open Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 and Saturday mornings. They do have early bird pick up, but it's still hard to get there if you before they close so that you can pay and pick up your vehicle.
Excellent Service To All Of You At Monkey Wrenches, I have a PT Crusier that had alot of problems. I took it to Monkey Wrenches to have it repaired. We had found out that we needed a new engine. The men at Monkey Wrenches wasted NO time in getting my engine and repairing my car. They are extremley awesome people. A+++ for service and pricing I have to say I am always hesitant to go to the mechanics because I have always had BAD experiences. It was a breathe of fresh air to find a place like Monkey Wrench. We have always had a great experience going here and their prices are very competitive. They have always done a great job with all of our cars (Acura, Mercedes, GMC, Dodge). Have and will continue to recommend this place to everyone I know.
