I have been going to Dr. McLain for years she is the best. Love her.
It’s the System… Most of us can understand a very skilled practitioner stuck in a really challenging system. That’s the situation here. Dr McLain is experienced, smart and compassionate. Her medical expertise is vast. She takes the time to listen, diagnose and treat. She even follows-up, a skill lost in today’s medical care! Dr. Mclain is an excellent physician. Her approach to healthcare is comprehensive care with compassion. She is very thorough, knowledgeable and will work to find answers in complex medical situations. Her staff is always professional and helpful. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mclain for several years, I‘m fortunate to have her as my internist.

Dr Mc Lain is very thorough and progressive in her care. I've been going to Dr Mc Lain for over 20 years. She takes time and listens. I don't like to take medications and she helps me find alternatives first. If I come up with something new for my care, she looks it up right there on her computer and we discuss to decide if it is right for me. Since her group combined with Northwestern, communication with her office has become harder, but her staff does try to work around the not so user friendly Northwestern system.
