I saw Dr. Young (no relation) for my gallbladder removal last week. This was my first ever major surgery and she was fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and put my mind at ease. I am incredibly lucky and appreciative to have been referred to her and her team for this procedure.
Dr Young was amazing. She performed my bariatric sleeve surgery. Her whole team made me feel comfortable from the very start. From what would have been a stressful operation, turned out to be a very easy experience. A day later I am now home with no pain. Thank you again for being such an awesome surgeon! And thank your whole team too!
Dr. Young and her team were just what I needed! From the day I first met Dr. Young up until my surgery, the whole pre-op process/experience was great and helped me lose 50 pounds on my own. I'm now 7 months post-surgery, and while I had some complications (through no fault of Dr. Young or her team) I've lost another 35 pounds and hoping to lose 20-40 more before I'm where I want to be. My life has changed dramatically in very healthy ways and I'm excited about the future and new adventures that await.
When I came to see Dr. Young two years ago I was 235lbs frequently used a walker, had been diabetic for 16 years, and had high blood pressure. Her team helped me navigate the process choosing if and what surgery was most appropriate for my situation, what my insurance covered, and guided me one step at a time through the process.
