RecommendedDr. Furman and his staff are the greatest. We had our dog Timber there last night. Timber got into a mess with a porcupine. What a mess our dog was. Dr. Furman and his great staff removed all the porcupines(and he was full of them-even in his mouth). What a great job they did. Timber is sore today but a lot happier thanks to Dr. Furman and staff. Highly recommend Monhagen Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Hanel and the staff at Monhagen Veterinary Hospital immediately and compassionately tended to a sick feral kitten I had picked up off the street during a recent visit to Middletown. They treated both the kitten and me with respect. As an animal lover and advocate, if I lived in Middletown this is definitely where I would take my pets.
When I lived in Middletown, my dog loved Monhagen Vet Hospital. Dr. Josh and all the staff were so caring and helpful. Questions and concerns were always addressed and handled in a professional and caring way. This is by far the very best place to take your pets.

When our little girl Nikita got sick due to a birth defect Dr Furman and everyone else at monhagen were always super accommodating. Even when she has stopped breathing and we were shooting to the vet at dangerous speeds by the time we got there the door was open and they shot us in right away. She ended up passing but it was no ones fault except her breeder.
First time patients (new rescue pup 💕) and called 1 hour before they closed on a Saturday and they squeezed us in no problem! Everyone from the girls at the front desk to Dr. Furman were all SO nice and down to earth and loved on our sweet girl! Thank you all so much!
I have been coming here since my dog gizmo was just 2 months old. He’s now 5 and we just added another dog to the mix! Bowser, he’s 3! The staff here is so kind and understanding. I would definitely recommend anyone with a pet come here! You will not regret it!
