During my initial visit, I specifically mentioned my sensitivity to retinoids and other vitamin A-based treatments, explaining my past experiences with severe purging. Despite my clear hesitation, the dermatologist dismissed my concerns with a brisk 'You won't purge' and proceeded to prescribe what I later learned to be a potent retinoid. Dr Thomas is very knowledgeable, tactful and nice. She listened to my concerns attentively and gave me the time required . I was very very happy with her. I was sad to see her leave US Dermatology Partners Bellaire and would have followed her, but I leave in the Loop.
Dr. Thomas is genuinely concerned for my wellbeing. She listened attentively to my health history, and a question I had about an area I was concerned about on my arm. Dr. Thomas was thorough in her examination, and explained her assessment of my skin condition as she was examining me. It was necessary to take a small tissue sample in one area, which she did very professionally and painlessly right in the exam room. Her nurse assistant was also very cordial and professional in support of her.
Dr. Thomas is AMAZING! I came in for a hive issue and she diagnosed it immediately. I couldn't ask for a more professional physician.
Dr. Thomas is the best. I've been receiving treatment from her for the past 5months. She is caring and very informative. Well pleased!
It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Thomas. Not only is she extremely professional, she took the time to listen to my concerns and I felt a real connection with her. She suggested a few tweaks to my skin care regiman and in 24 hours I can already see a difference in my skin. As long as I live in Houston she will be my Dermatologist. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate ear.
