My mom is a resident at the Upper East Side Rehab where Catherine is in charge of her care. My mom went for over 7 days without eating and very little drinking. It was only after my family insisted that she be further evaluated that my mom was given a blood test, an x-ray, IV fluids and ultimately sent to the hospital for kidney failure.
