Compared to Dandenong Hospital it's first class but from first hand knowledge there chemotherapy ward is an obvious Cash Cow for the hospital with way to many people receiving pointless treatments with little to pointless benefits that do little to prolonged life and prevent tumours from returning. The use of fear tactics by doctors is the real epidemic here not cancer. In all cases the only real benefit of chemotherapy is to the hospitals doctors and big pharm.
I had a day procedure at Monash Health Moorabbin on 30/01/2026 and the experience was beyond my imagination. From the moment I arrived, every single person I encountered was kind, professional, and incredibly reassuring. Sammie at reception was so warm and welcoming, the nurses were attentive and compassionate, and the gynecologist (Clarice), anaesthetists (Richard and Sharni) and surgeon all took the time to explain everything clearly and make me feel safe and supported. I would like to thank nurse Cathy at Moorabbin Hospital for her kindness and care during my MMG biopsy today. Although the sampling was not smooth, Cathy was very attentive, patient throughout the procedure
Very friendly staff. My Pre-admission appointment was very well organised, informative and thorough.
My daughter had her tonsils removed yesterday and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone single person we came across from the front reception, nurses, doctors right through to the pharmacist were just so lovely, nothing was any trouble and they made both my daughter and myself feel at ease. Well done guys, keep up the wonderful work you all do every single day ❤️❤️❤️
