Since 1933 the Bernardi family has been serving Italian & American cuisine. Famous for Mona's northern Italian Tortellini and spaghetti people travel from all over the state for great food, and friendly service. Mike Bernardi's son and daughter have joined the family business, Tony in 1988 and Stephanie in 1996, bringing it to the third generation. The fried chicken is great. One of my favorite places.
Mona's is the best. Always go there for Easter, Labor day , where they have a huge celebration. It's our family go to place for special occasions. We live around 45 minutes away or wed go more often. Great food, great service, great family owned from its start.
For a small town the people come from miles away. I'd suggest making reservations otherwise you'll be waiting a bit. The food is really good and the wait staff are on there ties as well. Can't wait to go back.
On our way back home from north carolina and had to have there ravioli and. chick en. And of course my gin martini with my family. . Thanjs afain for a wonderful meal
Best Italian food in the state, if not the nation! We go to Mona's / Bernardi's every time we are back in the area!
