My husband and I love Monahan’s! We go for lunch and love that we can order their lunch special or select a fish from the case and have them cook it to our specifications. The fish is so fresh and is excellent quality. The fish mongers are so knowledgeable and are a great help when we aren’t sure what to try. Our favorites are the soft shell crab sandwich, calamari, and any of their chowders. It may seem pricey, but it is well worth it for the quality you get.

Best seafood for miles around. The fish is incredibly fresh, of high quality. If you eat in--and I do every Saturday for lunch--the fish dishes are fantastically good. I used to live in Massachusetts and traveled internationally. No better fish anywhere.
Their chowder is to die for, and it, and all the other delights on offer, are enhanced by the jovial camaraderie of Mike & his team. A must for anyone visiting A2.
