My son and I came in around 1pm and they weren’t too busy, there were about half of the tables open. We sat patiently looking through the menu then just sitting there waiting for at least 10 minutes with no one greeting us or acknowledging we were there. Both waitresses passed by us at least 15-20 times and said nothing. We chose to be adventurous and try a new spot today and Mona’s did not disappoint. I will be back with family. I had the fish and chips style dish, the fish was very fresh and the sauce for the fish was delicious. My boyfriend had the croque and it was also delicious. I am interested in trying the German dishes next time.
Food was excellent. Restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone was friendly and attentive.
I go back and forth on this place. I've been in twice and both times the people I was with loved their food. I have never gotten anything from there that I liked. Even the french fries are awful to me. But the service has always been really good and the ambiance is nice. I can tell the owners put a lot of pride into it. It would be an adorable place to hold a rehearsal dinner or something for a smaller wedding. Or even a brunch if you could get it as a venue.
