Great Italian Food – Decided to go in on a whim and we were astounded. The food was excellent as was the service. It was much cheaper than their neighbor The Stinking Rose and yet much nicer. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good Choice – We stumbled on this restaurant - we were very satisfied. We made reservations to several of the top 10 restaurants on the citysearch list - Mona Lisa is a good choice for Italian. Overall experience better than Ristorante Milano.
Didn't even write down our reservation – After speaking with the staff twice on the phone to confirm reservations, our party arrived to find that the staff had not even written down our reservation. When we mentioned this oversight, we were met with contempt and indignation. It was not worth the wait. Locals don't go here, why should you?
Eclectic Italian – Mona Lisa is a fabulous restaurant, located on Columbus. The waitstaff is friendly and funny, offering you the best wine in the house. The dining area is appropriately decorated with dozens of "Mona Lisa"'s with their own twist creating an elcletic atmosphere. The restaurant is darker inside with candles at every table making it very romantic. The food is moderately priced (about $18) and they have great lunch specials (about $7 or so). The food is unbelievable and they always keep your water glass full.
