Such an incredible rest resource for a scared first time mom four days postpartum, after a concerning appointment with our pediatrician who made breast-feeding seem impossible. After our lactation appointment, which didn’t feel rushed at all, our baby began gaining weight the next day and we’ve gone on to have an incredible breast-feeding journey. So grateful for a resource like this in Austin!!
I’m so grateful for Mom’s Place Lactation Center! As a first-time mom, I really needed guidance and reassurance with my breastfeeding journey, and they provided exactly that. The team was so supportive, patient, and kind — they took the time to explain everything, help me understand the process, and make me feel confident feeding my baby. Their encouragement made such a difference for both me and my little one. I left feeling empowered and reassured, and I’m so thankful for their help!
So glad I found this place after calling their Breastfeeding Hotline. What an amazing, FREE resource for new moms in our community, funded by state grants. I was able to get an appointment right away (because as you know, when your baby is struggling to eat, waiting 2 weeks to see a consultant feels like forever) and the appointment was thorough and not rushed. From the receptionists to the lactation consultant, everyone here was kind and comforting. I would absolutely recommend this place.
So beyond impressed with Mom’s Place and the services provided. Special shout out to Holly! From start to finish, she was caring, thorough, calm and kind. She takes her time to understand your needs, answers all questions and concerns, readily available with resources/tips and tricks to bring you more peace and comfort in your breastfeeding journey. As a first time mom, I feel more confident and I would highly recommend Mom’s Place to anyone needing additional support!
