It’s taken me over a year to write this review as the circumstances surrounding my daughter’s stillbirth are traumatic. Dr Peters was the doctor on call at Hazleton when I went in for decreased fetal movement at 36+ weeks. It was confirmed there was no heartbeat. Dr. Peters lacked any ounce of empathy. She questioned me on if I was attending my appointments, using drugs or alcohol etc in a very accusatory manor. I went to every single appt, never used drugs or alcohol. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Had my 32-week visit, and she was the provider assigned to me for this visit. Talks more than she listens and tries to talk you out of what you feel is right for your birth plan. For me specifically, regarding epidural, birthing position, and wanting to schedule unnecessary testing. All my appointments with LVHN have been wonderful. This provider was the only negative experience. I WILL NOT have her as my birthing MD.
I wanted to take a moment to write a review about this amazing doctor because it’s important to remember and thank the incredible people in our lives. Dr. Peters has been my OBGYN for over 20 years, and every appointment with her has been a kind and caring experience. Molly Peters might go down as one of the worst medical professionals ever to walk this planet based just on my wife’s last visit. My wife was 8 months pregnant when she was referred to Dr. Peters office. While there she was served a cold dish of cutting comments about how big she was (wow, you look big, are you sure you’re only carrying one baby?) to leaving her rooms curtain wide open after asking her to change (Dr Peters medical assistant walked in and saw my wife mid change).
