The most kind, understanding, and knowledgeable medical professional I have seen. She explains everything and quickly responds to messages. Very thankful to have found her.
Today I came in for a consult to switch birth controls and it quickly went south. It started by her entering the room and rushing to try and answer all my questions (the three I had) with attitude and what she said truly shocked me. Dr. Peters has been my gyn for as long as I can recall. (At least 20 years). She always is so kind, empathetic and truly cares. I was having difficulty with a medication and she called me herself tonight at 7:40 pm. She also wanted to check on me because I was recently in the hospital for a non gyn-related issue. She also is extremely understanding about mental health issues and is holistic in her approach. She also performed a partial hysterectomy on me about 11-12 years ago. She told my 19 year old neice during her appointment that she’s wrong to fight for womens’ rights and to be glad she doesn’t live in Afghanistan. Not someone I would want my daughter, family members, or any woman of childbearing age to go. Even if she has a difference of opinion, as a professional she should have kept it to herself. Unbelievable.
