I took my car in for repair after an accident. About 3 weeks after, the paint started to peel off. The shop told me to bring it back in and they’ll fix it. They had my car for 3 days for a small paint fix. About a month later, the paint started to peel yet again. Returned to the shop, they redid the paint job and returned my car the next day. On August 12, 2025, I stopped by Ed & Jim's Autobody Shop because my trunk would not open, and I had seafood inside from the night before. I explained my situation to the front desk employees, and right away they asked one of the techs to help me. Jay came out and assessed the car. He determined the only way to access the trunk was by removing the back seat. I went through progressive to get an estimate on my car. Whilst doing the estimate Ed and Jim body shop STRIPPED my car until it was no longer drivable and then refused to put it back together.
