We come to Ruidoso often, and decided to give this restaurant a try despite the 3.9 rating. When we walked in the place was empty, but there was for some reason 8 (yes, we counted) 8 tables that were still stacked with dirty dishes and no busser to be found. We waited 25 minutes to just get 8 waters, and we only decided 7. Do not waste your time took 30 minutes for water we also 2 small children that didn’t even eat any thing. A 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. But they in Clyde’s them in the 6 or more and charge a 20 % gratuity. One of if not the worst Mexican restaurants I have ever been to.

This was an awful experience. It took 40 minutes to get drinks, we asked 3 times for more chips, had to wait on utensil after food was served, and 2 entrées were un edible. One had onions all in it when it was specifically asked not to be put on the dish. And the other dish was not as described on the menu. They offered no refund on either entrées so we were charged for them. I will never go back to this restaurant again. Was charged a gratuity, and I would have never left a tip for that kind of service.

Food was good, restaurant was clean, prices are typical, servers & staff were polite but service could have been much much better. They weren't rude but took a very long time to take our order. We were patient and enjoying being in Ruidoso so we didn't complain, but it should never take 2.5 hours to get the food we ordered. It was between meals and wasn't a full house, so I'd wait til it isn't busy!
