After my dog was attacked by a coyote, my vet tech friend told me to bring her here. I called to let them know I was on my way and they took her in right away. Over 20 stitches needed but my little one is alive so I couldn’t ask for anything more.
We lost our sweet Bella late one night after a long battle with Cushings Disease. Her vet was closed and we couldn't wait any longer. We brought her in to Mokena and they were wonderfully compassionate. Our girl had been with us so long and was so special, they allowed us to stay as long as we needed to say goodbye after she had passed. They sent a wonderful card afterward with our baby girl's paw print, which I never would have thought of. We have the card displayed and will keep it with her ashes.
Really glad to find an emergency vet facility where the staff was kind and provided excellent care during the off hours of most vets. I found the prices to be reasonable in comparison to other emergency vets outside the area (prior location after hours call to local vet was $250 just to get the vet to show up and there was no emergency clinic). From a care perspective I believe they did good (seeing our ref vet to change the bandage today so I'll know more later). However the place is really worn down and needs a bit of attention. The ceiling tiles in the waiting area were stained from leaks. The floor tiles popping up in places. I hope it's not reflective of the area where the pets are treated.
