This was my first experience at the Las Colinas location and all I can say is what a great spa day. I went for a facial and chemical peel. My esthetician Yanick exceeded all my expectations. What a great job she did!! I will definitely return for more treatments.

Killer massage! I recently had a massage and facial here, both with Cheryl. She was fantastic; I didn't have to leave the room. I started with a one hour Deep Tissue massage and then finished with a one hour facial. She has a great, therapeutic touch. The spa itself is beautiful, but I don't get why they have their manicure station upstairs and their pedicure room is downstairs. They walked me upstairs thru the salon in my robe to get my mani. I recently purchased a Spa package called the Mokara Retreat where I received a facial, massage, mani and pedi. OMG! what a treat. Cheryl provided the massage and facial so it was really nice not having to get up to switch rooms for each service. She was wonderful! She was very knowlegeable about the products she used on my skin during my facial and the massage was fantastic! Beware Bad Stylists, Fried Hair – This salon is a mess! Most stylists left all at once because they were unhappy about something. So I tried a new stylist named MaiTai, I asked for light brown highlights on my dark brown hair. My highlights came out screaming white-yellow, and my hair was FRIED and breaking off. Then the stylist actually argued with me about whether it looked good or not. My long hair will be exceptionally dry and fried until this mess grows out, which will take years. Bad experience - go somewhere else! I'm sorry but this spa has gone downhill since last year. The massage therapist I had loved has left and recently the service just isn't the same. More staff training needed and therapists with good hands please! The front desk made a mistake with my booking and I was left waiting for a service for over 30 minutes. I couldn't speak to the manager as apparently she was at the hotel (the spa is next door to the Omni hotel) and despite requesting she call me I haven't heard anything since. No... read more

ups and downs at the spa! The massage was wonderful, one of the best I have had. I truly enjoyed the experience. The facial was great too! The pedicure was uncomfortable. I am average height but the chair set up is made for a much shorter person. To go from a wonderfully relaxing massage to an uncomfortable pedicure was the worst. The staff is wonderful but think they need to redo the nail services area. I would go back for a massage or another facial but would skip the nail service.

BAD experience!!! – Don't go here! Tried to make an appintment - noone called me back. Eventually got a booking only to have the wrong day/time confirmed. Asked to speak to the manager and even she didn't get back to me. Now worth the bother and I heard most of their good people left already - go round the corner to LaMasters instead.

Great Salon – I've been going to The Mokara Salon for almost a year and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and personable and the location is convenient. Casey has cut/colored my hair for about 6 months now and I've always been very pleased with the results. She's always attentive and very pleasant - I've never had a better stylist!
