I felt very comfortable with Dr Patel. He saw the urgency needed and got me in asap for back surgery. 3 mo in and back feeling much better. I would definitely recommend Dr. Patel.
I had a laminectomy (L4 &L5) performed by Dr. Patel on December 18th and he did an excellent job. As this was my 3rd lower back surgery over the years I was a little apprehensive but Dr. Patel performed flawlessly. He initially spent a lot of time discussing my options and listening to my concerns. Post surgery he kept checking on me and kept my wife informed. His entire staff are superb including all of surgerical staff at Southwest Hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Patel for his surgical skills and great bedside manner.
Dr. Patel was amazing! From my first consultation visit, he put me at ease and thoroughly explained my options. He allowed me time to make my decision and proceed forward with surgery based on my wishes and timeline, not his own. He communicated his approach and explained what to expect to take the fear out of having a major spine surgery.
