I've been hearing about this place for years, how great it is and the food is great. That's not my experience. I went with a group from my apartment building. We all had the same opinion about the food. The fish and shrimp tasted like dish water and the steak was tough. On a bright note our waiter Lee was fantastic. I definitely won't be back.

Food was adequate. Service was slow to start but got better. Atmosphere was ok.
Don’t let the outside fool you—we had a great meal and excellent service at Mohawk Seafood Tavern. This family-owned spot has a welcoming, laid-back feel, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The fresh oysters were spot on, and everything we ordered was well prepared and flavorful. Glad we ended up here and would definitely come back.
