I ordered the 21$ combination platter. The price that was on the menu was not even remotely close to the price they were asking for when I was leaving. 27$ they charged me for food and drink and I've noticed it's like that a lot of places. I had 26dollars on me so honestly I could've had gotten in trouble with the law if I was the wrong person. They had to pay for meal and I couldn't tip and I hate that.
My partner and I went for Valentines and as soon as our server realized we were a couple our service went down hill from there. Food was cold, didn't get drinks refilled and after paying server our check he said he would return with our change. 20 minutes later we walk up front and he had just laid our change on the counter.
Fried shrimp poboy not to be beat anywhere. Simply perfect.
We got to the Tavern late (around 10pm) and despite the grill being closed the bartender bend over backwards fixing us some tasty fish and chips. We appreciated the warm welcome and dedicated effort! Highly recommend!
