Asked around town where to get the best oysters, and everyone told me I had to check out Moawek. They were absolutely right. This place is a beast. The vibe and interior are incredible, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and they were always making sure we were taken care of. And the food… the oysters were fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. If you’re in town and love oysters, you need to stop in and give this place a try.
Great portions of food and tasty..
The boiled shrimp was great! The ribeye was not, no seasoning and no crust. Very sad to have spent so much and left most on my plate.
A welcome time warp in Monroe. Great service and worthy no frills fare. Enjoy!
