Before moving into the apartment my mother and I asked the landlord if the apartment was quiet. My mother had looked at the apartment for me because I happened to be living in another state. The landlord told us multiple times that the apartment was a quiet place to live in and the tenants were respectful. I have dealt with Brian Derry on several real estate transactions and found he was the only Real Estate agent that worked with you to purchase property . Most will not let you go to low on offers even though they are supposed to represent you. Be careful with these types and switch to someone like Mohawk Real Estate who works to ypur best interest. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've tried working with Mohawk Realty on several occasions, and not once have I had a positive interaction. Each time I viewed a property I felt as if I was being interrogated. I was denied rental of a house SOLELY due to my age at the time. I was specifically told by the real estate agent AND her supervisor that it was "nothing personal, but you're too young to rent a house" even when I made the right amount of money (and had proof) to rent and had the credit score as well. I was denied housing literally because of my emotional support animal, which is a small well behaved dog that I have the legal right to take with me into an apartment. I will be contacting the Housing Authority.
