I went to see Dr Kumar today about why I'd had so many episodes of low blood pressure requiring many trips to the hospital after EMS took my blood pressure sitting and standing. It dropped 20 points when standing and 30-40 points the next time when standing. It wasn't a matter of if I wanted to go to the hospital, it was you NEED to go to the hospital. This office is loosely managrd. We had a video call appointment scheduled for my dad (90 years) a month ago, then at the time of the appointment we accidentally noticed that it was scheduled as an in person visit. That's it - no matter how many times we call to fix it or even reschedule, we never got someone answers our calls. No matter how many hours you spend on hold, no answer. This is awful experience, really.
If you are young or a woman, RUN. DO NOT see this doctor or your life could be in danger. Dr.kumar is so uneducated that he can't even recognize the symptoms of pulmonary hypertension. He has terrible bedside manner and offers no comfort when dealing with severe symptoms. This doctor will ignore your symtoms if you are young. Mohan Kumar, you should be ashamed of yourself. My partner was referred to Mohan Kumar after visiting the ER because of shortness of breath. She was 29 years old and an overall healthy person with no history of abuse to her body from substance abuse. I was with her during the initial visit to Kumar.
