I'm on the hunt for a new psychiatrist (my previous one only handles postpartum patients) and went to Dr. Ayoub. The wait time was egregious - over 45 mins., and when I got to finally see him, he made lots of judgmental comments about me having a baby at 40. Unfortunately, due to some infertility issues and multiple miscarriages, we had our son later in life - but Dr. Ayoub chose to lecture me on how dangerous that was, the risk of birth defects, and decline in egg quality. I wish I could say this is a good doctor. However, when I opened up about my life and situation in hopes of having him understand my situation, he proceeded to mouth off classist, abelist judgments against my choices, my freelance career, threw around the word "useless," and told me to go to business school as if it was the easiest thing in the world. He gave me the prescription and whisked me out the door. Now I look to see if the psychiatrist is not condescending.

I have been going to Dr. Ayoub for 14 years with bi polar manic depression. He prescribed the right medicine and worked with me until the dosage was right. He continues to work with me to manage the dosage and my mental health care. I can honestly say his intervention in my care saved my life.

Dr. Ayoub has been my doctor for over a decade. He is the most caring and compassionate psychiatrist that I've ever met. I will trust him with my life and I have.
