This physician’s assistant is the most unprofessional chauvinistic condescending medically inept inidividual I have ever seen. Mercy medical systems would be advised to remove him from their medial system before a lawsuit ensues. As an Arab I cannot imagine ever letting this man speak to my wife the way he spoke on that day. He was rude, dismissive and her condition was far outside his capabilities or knowledge and he refused treatment.
This guy literally asked me to help him with cutting open a patient’s cyst as he used a scalpel on her, with no lidocaine, and when I refuse, is when he finally brought in his assistant to help him with the medical procedure he asked me to assist him with. I was a bystander. This guy then proceeded to talk over the patient to say that the cysts are caused by the individual wearing earrings, to which I heard the patient explain that they don’t wear earrings anymore because of the cysts explicitly. Seen Dr. Shalabe for the very first time today. He was fantastic, he explained diabetes to me and what we needed to do to get me on the right path. He took his time with every question I had. I am looking forward to this journey to get me on the right path. I highly recommend
I have been seeing Dr. Shalabe for a little over 5 months now and he is AWESOME!!!!!! He has helped me get my diabetes under control. When I started seeing him my A1C was around 10 now at my last visit it was 6.5. I believe he truly loves his job and helping people.
He is by far one of my favorite endocrinologists I have had since being diagnosed 30 years ago. When I received the letter stating he had left it was utterly disappointing. If he is out there practicing elsewhere I would love to know!
