This guy literally asked me to help him with cutting open a patient’s cyst as he used a scalpel on her, with no lidocaine, and when I refuse, is when he finally brought in his assistant to help him with the medical procedure he asked me to assist him with. I was a bystander. This guy then proceeded to talk over the patient to say that the cysts are caused by the individual wearing earrings, to which I heard the patient explain that they don’t wear earrings anymore because of the cysts explicitly. Seen Dr. Shalabe for the very first time today. He was fantastic, he explained diabetes to me and what we needed to do to get me on the right path. He took his time with every question I had. I am looking forward to this journey to get me on the right path. I highly recommend
I have been seeing Dr. Shalabe for a little over 5 months now and he is AWESOME!!!!!! He has helped me get my diabetes under control. When I started seeing him my A1C was around 10 now at my last visit it was 6.5. I believe he truly loves his job and helping people.
He is by far one of my favorite endocrinologists I have had since being diagnosed 30 years ago. When I received the letter stating he had left it was utterly disappointing. If he is out there practicing elsewhere I would love to know!
Very disappointed. Established care with him through endocrinology at Promedica in August, spoke with him on September 19, and received a letter October 8 letting me know that Dr. Shalabe was no longer with the practice as of September 26 written on September 30. Not once during this process did Dr shalabe notify me that he was leaving. I had no idea until the letter came.
