I do not recommend him unless you are absolutely out of options. They have other Drs that are much better and PA’s that are too.
Dr. Shahzad is amazing. He is un afraid to give a referral. When you first meet him, he seems a little rushed, but if it’s something serious, he will give all the time and compassion you need. He’s a very smart doctor.
Requires totally unnecessary appointments. I can only assume it’s a “money thing” or maybe Ephraim McDowell in general. I needed to schedule a mammogram but they require an “order” from primary care doctor. I called Dr. Shahzad’s office and asked if they would order one. I was put on hold, nurse came back and said Dr. Shahzad said I needed to come in for a referral.
