I previously had ACL surgery on my other knee, so I was familiar with what recovery is usually like. My experience with this surgeon was very different and extremely difficult for me. During my ACL surgery, an internal brace was used along with the graft. I was not aware beforehand that this approach would be used, and had I known, I would have chosen differently.
