A true master of his art, Dr. Osmun is amazing. Not only is he a skilled surgeon, his bedside manner is fantastic. I was terrified, absolutely horrified, to go into surgery. He made me feel a lot better about it. I felt like he actually listened to me. Heard my words and considered them And didn’t downplay any of my concerns. He is just an all-around amazing doctor. And I can’t understate how much I appreciate him. Thank you to Dr Osmun and his team for the fantastic care provided
Dr Osman is an awesome surgeon and person. If you have Vascular issues he's your man! He got referred to my case and called me personally to let me know that I needed surgery and his nurse would contact me. Within a week I was in surgery. I had a severe Vascular issue that I had been dealing with for over a year. I am happy to say that 2 years later I am going strong still :) Thank you to Dr Osman and his team. You all are a blessing.
My boyfriend Russ Brenner had a big surgery with Dr. Osman. It was a difficult surgery and the Dr found a way to do it ! He is down to earth and very compassionate. I believe his statement that he treats his patients like he would want his loved ones treated. We liked him very much. We trust him, and believe he wants to get his patients well and able to live their lives.
If you like a surgeon who yells at their staff in the middle of surgery, while the patient lies unconscious, this is the guy for you. Please note, he also leaves in the middle of surgery, leaving most of the work for his residents and med students. AND the management staff at UTMC is well aware of his discrepancies. He is a liability to his patients and the profession. I'd give him negative stars if possible.
