I just had a proceedure on Thursday, and Dr. Metawee was very personable when he did speak to me. My Nurse, Wendy went over and above with my care. During the proceedure, Dr. Metawee got too close to my esophagus and possibly caused a serious problem. When he spoke to my wife about it, he told my wife not to tell me, because I was a Paramedic and would make a big deal about it. My wife informed Wendy about it, and then I was informed. He’s a very nice doctor overall but he never calls you back with results, never even schedule you for annual visit, and if you miss an appointment they don’t seem to care nor bother to call for rescheduling.
I had my procedure done a couple days ago at the Mercy Hospital by Dr. Metawee and I have to say that I am more than happy with my results. Doctor Metawee is very caring and very knowledgeable in his field, and if you are looking for an cardiologist/electrophysiologist you will not be disappointed.
