Referred to the doctor by my family physician. Only one visit so far . Impressed me with his knowledge and ability. I will add more to this questionnaire after subsequent visits and treatment.

I am in my 70's, and Dr. El Safadi performed by first colonoscopy. I was very apprehensive as colon cancer runs in my family, I am on blood thinners and have had severe side effects to many drugs, including anesthesia. Due to Dr. El Safadi's expertise and wonderful way of explaining the procedure, all my fears were put to rest and I had a very calm and rewarding outcome. I am so very pleased and thankful to have found such an outstanding, knowledgeable, and caring physician.

Dr. El Safadi was very knowledgeable and professional; an endoscopy showed I have a hiatal hernia, and he had told me to avoid NSAIDs, etc. My concern was that he did not respond to my email or phone call about the safety of a medication another doctor had recommended for inflamation in my neck, hips and knees. The other doctor, my neurosurgeon, and asked me to check with Dr. El Safadi to determine if the prescribed medication would negatively affect any conditions revealed with the endoscopy.
