Salkeni diagnosed me wrong during COVID as stage 4 terminal but because I also had a pretty severe brain injury, any concern I had was chalked up as me being overly emotional and irrational. I kept asking questions though about my misdiagnosis, Salkeni refused to see me in person for our last visit instead sending patient advocate in his place. When they were asked about the poor care I was given, I was told “you’re alive though…” No acknowledgment or apology was ever given. Salkeni is a coward at best
I’ve been blessed tremendously by Dr. Salkeni as my Care provider. Loving, caring, smart Oncologist who is careful even for precision diagnosis details for my personal benefit.
He was very well read on my chart and my history. He gave me very detailed information on my next steps and I really felt safe with his care and trust that he's going to do whatever he can to help me or research options for me. I really left feeling good about my options with him.
