Went today for Cinco de Moe's. Wow am I glad I don't eat here anymore. This company has really gone down hill. The chicken was as hard as a rock. With no flavor. The service was okay. But wow the food was horrible, terrible, and awful; All in one! I see why it was completely empty inside.
If I could give no stars I would. Where to start. The lobby was disgusting. The counters where the food is prepared were disgusting. They looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in days or longer. There were food particles everywhere you looked. Then there was the food. We barely got any protein with our bowls/burrito’s. This was the second time we’ve gone here and it will be the last. We went Saturday, 4/18 and I was shocked to see how far Moe’s has fallen. We went around 1pm, it wasn’t that busy with only two employees it took a while. I ordered a bowl, and the guy barely put any rice(maybe one scoop). I asked if that was all and he gave me a little more. The white onions looked absolutely disgusting(old, wilted, and turning yellow) the pickled jalapeños were shriveled and looked old as well. I spoke to Nathan the manager telling him the food gave me food poisoning and he was very dismissive and rude saying there was nothing he can do and hung up in my face. I would not patronize this business again and he needs to be fired as a manager.
By far the best Moe’s in the Tampa area! I pass several other locations just to come to this one on Collier Parkway. The General Manager, Ryan, is the main man—he’s amazing, incredibly accommodating, and makes sure every order is done right. The service here is five-star. The employees always have a smile on their face and keep the environment spotless. Most importantly, the food is consistently warm, the chips are fresh, and the salsa is always perfect.
