Moe's Original BBQ was founded by three Bama boys: Mike Fernandez from Tuscaloosa, Ben Gilbert from Athens, and Jeff Kennedy from Huntsville. After meeting at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, they instantly became friends and had a mutual interest in all things Southern: BBQ, blues, college football, and whisky. 1st time in this place and there was a gay couple in as well. The workers and I think owner were mocking gay men out LOUD. Rude. I won't be back.
Moes is my new favorite bbq place the smoked wings are the best and the ribs are awesome too. The price isn't bad either two people can eat for around $25
