It was good. A vinegar based sauce similar to Carolina style BBQ. I'm from KC and was expecting a KC style. It wasn't but still very good
The shrimp sandwich is AWESOME! I just might eat one every day while I'm here visiting my sister and brother-in-law!
My husband and I ate here last night and loved it. We shared the pulled pork and it was perfect. My husband had the collard greens and he was in heaven! I had the mac and cheese and it was very good but my husband ended up eating most of it because I wouldn't share the corn bread with him, omg that cornbread reminded me of my mom's. It's a great place, fun atmosphere and very inexpensive. We will definitely be back.
The pulled pork was great and the sides were delicious. What a deal when I found out that when you eat in with kids, the kids meals are $1.00! What a fun surprise!
The meat was ok, mac-n-cheese is better from a box, corn bread was good but burned, squash casserole was overly salty. There was a little sweet sauce on the brisket but no other sauce to be found anywhere. Shouldn't bbq place offer bbq sauce? And more than a sugar sauce! The chicken was under cooked and searve with mayo (again, noo bbq sauce!)
Great atmosphere, great prices.. defiantly worth being a first timer.
Wings and ribs are awesome. Loved to coleslaw too
