Very bad experience with this modesto Toyota because of the sales man were binding our paperwork and deal was done and our saleman was hold the key for it but suddenly manager was came there and He stop the paperwork and said we sold the RAV4 to some one else
We bought a 2025 Sequoia and a 2025 Tundra a few weeks apart, the sales experience was fine. The service experience has me considering selling. No excuse for such lackluster service. The Tundra was missing a key when we bought it, when the key was available, it took 3 hours of waiting to get the key paired to the truck, a 20 minute process (we followed it on the ap). On a road trip from Sacramento area. Had the yellow warning light pop up, no clue what it was for as we had just had the car in for routine service. Rolled in Toyota and explained the situation. Btw, the light turned off after I stopped the car ( an hr later) The express service guy, said it could have been because of temp change in the AM since it was so cold and then the engine heat on road. I contacted Toyota Customer Care and filed a complaint against Modesto Toyota for misleading me. I found it interesting that their used truck inventory was very low at the time, which makes me question their intentions. When I brought this up with Toyota, they confirmed that Modesto Toyota should have informed me that my truck wasn’t ready. I’ve leased six trucks before, so I know that returning a vehicle before it’s ready isn’t a good idea.
