I highly recommend Derrick and Omar at Modern Tire and Auto in Ricky Hill. They provide honest, fast, reliable and affordable car repair! (I do not recommend the Newington, CT location though).

I always buy my tires and get them changed there and they often do other repairs as required on my car. So today I asked them to check my brakes because they’re squealing and they told me my brakes are fine; they just squeal sometimes. I appreciate their honesty.

I’ve been in twice now and both times the staff were super professional, knowledgeable, and friendly (and patient with my silly questions😆)- on the phone and in person. Goes a long way!! I will definitely be back!!
Arrived at 5:20 for an oil change. Waited next to another car while both bays were empty before being directed inside. Younger female was processed for her oil change, while I was dismissively told I should have arrived by 5:30. It was then 5:39. Its probably for the best as I don't want people with a work ethic this poor touching my truck.
Very honest and up front people! Love coming here and seeing the same people. Today, my car went in for an oil change and the Mechanic didn’t feel comfortable getting my tire key “because I had money next to it” I also thought I needed more work and they told me I didn’t need anything else. I feel very comfortable every time I come here! Great group! I will only come here for my car!
