The good points: street parking was accessible; I was greeted and appointment time honored when I arrived (though it was during the day of a weekday so not too hard); and service was friendly. Could be better: gel polishes are not organized making it hard to pick a color in a color range of interest. Why I won't go back: the skin around my nail was punctured and I bled for awhile not only while in the salon but for awhile after. I got a gel manicure here. I have never felt so rushed through a service before. They weren’t even busy. My cuticles looked better before the service. So rushed she only put lotion on one of my hands. The technician was also very aggressive pulled my hair and hand around. It was generally a vet unfriendly experience and I won’t be going back. $45 for a crappy gel manicure and sloppy unfriendly service. Very reliable and great quality! Good products used and nail technicians are perfectionists who make sure your nails are even, well-shaped, and pretty! The only place I will go in Arlington!!
Don’t bother. Rushed and poor service, rough treatment of hands, and they raised the price from what it is posted as (I’ve come regularly). Told me it’s more expensive because I didnt get another service (read the reviews, theres 0 reason to be getting serviced here.) This is what I walked away with today- no lotion, no clean up. Will come back to Modern Nail Bar! I went to do my nails more than 2 weeks ago and they are still looking good now. They used high quality nail polish and I love this color so much. I’ve been there several times and the staffs are always friendly and attentive.
