Our AC stopped working in the beginning of August while we were out of town. Our house was over 80°F when we got home. A technician from a commercial company diagnosed the AC and said it needed a new compressor. Fortunately, it was covered under a warranty. Unfortunately, the company quoted us $2,500 for labor.
