Difficult to get service. We moved to a home equipped with Modern Home Systems Savant. No real instruction in operation of the service (despite our willingness to pay for this), unable to access equipment cabinet due to crowded inflexible installation, and no wi-fi despite excellent fiberoptic service into the home due to modem, wi-fi extender, and other Modern Home Systems installation. They answer the phone, but getting help, learning the system, and keeping it operational is a problem.
walked in to what I thought was a home theater showroom only to be rudely unwelcomed by the staff. evidently by appointment only. no in store shopping. 1 star for the quality of kit like paradigm and mcintosh.

We hired Modern Home Systems to get music throughout our 4-story house...I had originally imagined a costly project with lots of equipment, wires, and drywall repairs (but I was still willing...for music!). We ended up spending a couple grand less than I expected and, not only did I get music, but an entire Mac-based system, including Apple TV (we can view slideshows of our pics or YouTube from our plasma TV and rent movies on demand!) and my new MacBook Pro.
