Nice hair by the woman she was amazing with my hair cut my only complaint is the owner when I went to pay insisted I leave a 18% and said you have too. I thought that was a bit unprofessional and rude as i was going to tip but he was frustrated I didn’t want to tip the 18%. I recently got laid off and couldn’t do a 18% or 20% tip like I normally do. I had a great experience at Modern Hair Salon! Mr. and Mrs. Yang, the owners, were both very kind and welcoming. They gave me a really good haircut and the customer service was excellent. The whole process was also very fast, which I appreciated. I highly recommend Modern Hair Salon if you’re looking for a great haircut and friendly service!
Best hair salon in the country! The owners are the sweetest (Mr. and Mrs. Yang)! If you had to go to one hair salon in your lifetime, it would be this one!
I asked for a wavy perm here for $200, and now, less than two weeks later, my hair is nearly straight with some parts completely straight. I’ve gotten perms in the past and they usually last two months at the least. I believe Modern used an acid perm, which is known to not hold on Asian hair, but when I asked, they did not seem to know the difference.
