if you want your brand new wood floor to have the absolute worst possible installation please by all means let modern flooring install It. The floor they installed has huge gaps and they attempted to cover it up with some putty stuff Instead of properly repairing it. 10/10 would not recommend. The sales person Shirley is the absolute worst. She said the flooring looks fine and it's going to have gaps because it's a "natural product" and that i "shouldn't be on my hands and knees inspecting it" they have in no way shape or fo... read more
The employees and people who install the floor are so nice and they look amazing! We got real hardwood.
Worked with Barbara Guillot at Modern Flooring. We had a bedroom which had been carpeted over by the previous homeowners. We wanted to remove the carpet and if possible, repair/refinish the wood floor underneath. It was tricky since there wasn't an easy way to assess the integrity of the floor without pulling up the carpet. Nevertheless, even though there were a lot of unknowns, I had confidence in Barbara. The flooring guys (Amilton) were great, very professional, and the project ultimately turned out exactly as hoped for.
